Educational and Professional Background
Michael completed Masters Degrees in Clinical Psychology and Religion Studies at Seattle University in 1986 and 1988. He has worked in private practice as a Washington State Certified and Licensed Mental Health Therapist in Bellingham since 1987. He also has taught Psychology and Comparative Religion courses at Whatcom Community College, from 1987 to 1992. Michael uses an integrated team approach with community physicians, educators, clergy and law enforcement.
Areas of Special Interest
Michael specializes in childhood and adolescent behavioral disorders including trauma, autism, ADHD, anxiety, chronic illness and depression. Michael also works with adults and couples providing cognitive behavioral therapy for marriage and parenting complications, anxiety, depression and chronic pain conditions.

Heading North on I-5: Take Lakeway, Exit 253, stay right and head towards Lakeway. Turn right onto Lakeway. Get into left hand lane. Stay in that lane and merge onto Holly Street. Turn right onto Bay Street which immediately changes to Prospect. After you pass the downtown post office Prospect turns into Dupont. Take a right onto C St. We are the second driveway on the left. We are located in the yellow two-story house, 1715 C St.
